Account & Data Deletion — Sapian


Sapian respects your privacy and gives you full control over your account and personal data.


How to request account deletion


You can request the deletion of your Sapian account and associated data in one of the following ways:

Option 1: From the app

1. Open the Sapian app.
2. Go to Profile → Settings → Delete account.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm deletion.

Option 2: Via email
If you are unable to access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us at:
support@sapian.app

Please include the email address or phone number associated with your Sapian account.



What data will be deleted


Once your deletion request is confirmed, the following data will be permanently deleted:

• Your user profile (name, photos, bio, interests)
• Location data
• Messages and conversations
• Matches and invitations
• Account settings and preferences

Data that may be retained


Some data may be retained for legal, security, or compliance purposes, including:

• Transaction and subscription records (if applicable), retained as required by law
• Anonymous or aggregated analytics data that cannot be linked back to you

Retention period

• Account and personal data are deleted within 30 days of the deletion request.
• Data required for legal or accounting purposes may be retained for up to 90 days, after which it is securely removed.

Important notes

• Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone.
• Uninstalling the app does not delete your account or data.
• Active subscriptions must be canceled separately through your app store account settings.
